Join the fun Friday April 24 – Saturday April 25, as we fire up the stage with an amazing lineup of local bands. It’s going to be one unforgettable night!
Battle of the Bands returns to Red Bird Brewing for two nights of live competition, where local rock artists perform for a chance to win a paid slot at Rock The Lake Music Festival. Help crown the next breakout act and experience the Okanagan’s rock scene at its best.

Why is it called Red Bird?
We wanted the name for the brewery to have a strong connection to the community and be based on the rich history of this beautiful city.
The annual Kelowna Regatta had been around for longer than the city has been established, it’s what brought the community together for the entire Okanagan and even pulled in visitors from the far ends of the province. Since the regatta is literally what brought the community together and we found this amazing photo and story of an old race boat used in the early days, it felt like a perfect fit. Red Bird Brewing was born.

Canyon Riders perform a gritty fusion of country, blues, folk, and rock!
Bound by a tight, heart-pounding rhythm section, the Canyon Riders deliver distinctive and earthy vocals punctuated by bursts of solo and duelling guitar improvisation, creating a fresh sound that is current and uniquely their own.
