What is Happening at PoCo Car Free Day 2026?

Presented by TransLink, Port Coquitlam Car Free Day transforms the downtown core into a massive, vibrant pedestrian street festival from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Aside from our live set on the Main Stage, you can explore a wide variety of local attractions:

  • The Adult Beverage Garden: Grab a cold drink and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
  • Food Truck Heaven: A massive lineup of local street food vendors and food trucks.
  • Family Fun & Activities: Leigh Square will host a dedicated Family Stage alongside mini-golf, a ninja obstacle course, and a bicycle skills zone.
  • Local Vendor Markets: Browse unique artisan goods from Tri-Cities businesses and community booths.
Leave the Car at Home!

True to the spirit of the event, organizers encourage everyone to embrace sustainable transportation. Walk, skate, or take public transit to the festival gates. If you decide to cycle down, there will be a free bike valet service located right at the corner of McAllister Avenue and Donald Avenue to keep your ride secure while you rock out with us.

Plus, if you take transit, you can show your Compass Card at local spots like Patina Brewing for exclusive event-day discounts!
