Straight out of Vancouver, BC, the Canyon Riders deliver a hard-hitting sound that bridges country, blues, and rock and roll. While honouring the roots of each genre, the band brings a fresh edge that makes their music distinctly their own. Backed by a tight, heart-pounding rhythm section, they unleash soaring duelling guitar improvisations that pay homage to southern rock traditions. Adding even more fire to the mix, gritty vocals infused with blues and honky-tonk influences give every song depth, character, and raw emotion.
Apricot Tsaqwem Festival
A free, family-friendly summer celebration held annually at the Lillooet Rec Centre. Featuring an extensive weekend lineup of live music, food trucks, a local farmers market, face painting, and community activities like a baseball tournament and pancake breakfast.
The festival dates back many years, with recent summer celebrations spanning three days. The name highlights the region’s agricultural roots, combining the famous local apricots with tsaqwem (the St’át’imc word for the saskatoon
